They deserve it. They have a top #5 strength of scheduled and they have been dominate on both sides of the ball from the start of the season till now. If LSU doesn't blow UGA out, OSU will get the #1 seed.

Some of you annoy the shite out of me but Ohio State being #1 is bs. Let’s be honest....Wisconsin is highly overrated and penn state is the only good team Ohio State has beaten.
LSU has beaten Auburn, Florida, and Alabama who would all beat penn state and Wisconsin.

Haha the committee obviously did not watch the Penn State game. In the 4th quarter that team could not snap the ball that translates into Ohio State is the most "complete" team.

Yeah they didn’t really dominate the best team they played last week. I’ll be curious what they do against Michigan. I think they are even better than penn state.

The whole "OSU hasn't played nobody, they aint no good" can't be said after championship week if they win out. That's wins against Minnesota, Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin. How dumb do people have to be to not recognize Ohio State is a good team this far into the season?

I think they’re making these decisions strategically.
They want to do as much as they can to prevent two SEC teams from playing.
If LSU beats Georgia they want them to stay at #2 so they won’t play Bama when Bama moves to 4. This also decreases the chances of an all SEC national title.
