That’s what I’m thinking. He wouldn’t have turned down that kind of offer if something wasn’t already in the works.

Lupoi basically got fired. Saban told him to look for something else.

This. We dropped the ball with Enos, but this was a planned move by Saban that has been known for sometime.

On the field, during the season - you’re a team.
After it’s over you fixed what’s broken. Tosh was broken.

I hate that we lost Tosh from the staff as a position coach. Nick tried something that failed in that he wanted to keep Tosh for his recruiting skills but in order to do that he had to move him into that DC spot and that seat he can't handle At This Time. I doubt Cleveland is going to pay Tosh 900k a year.

He is a hell of a recruiter, there was talk Kirby would bring him on board but it looks like UGA has decided to promote from within. Does this mean Bama will lose the 5 star ILB from Cali?

That guy hasn't committed to Alabama. I would think it would make a big difference now that Tosh isn't around.

This early NSD worked out well for Nick....LOL

Not as a recruiter, but the replacement will certainly be a better coordinator.

Very possible. Tosh was from the same HS but so is Kevin Simon who is a legend at his HS. He felt comfortable with several guys on our staff and with Tosh.

Lol no. Aranda would never gel with Saban looking over his shoulder constantly.

I expect we're out of it now. Tosh was his guy. Same high school, plus, he's just a hell of a recruiter.

I really hoped we could sign To'oto'o.

We need to hire a Samoan coach to replace Tosh. I like Bama getting talent from the west coast.

What’s going on in Tuscaloosa? Saban will need to put an ad on Indeed at this rate.

Is it fair to say Nick Saban is the hardest HC to work for in modern college FB history? Serious question.
