What's with the scrolling line during the game:

"LSU expected to play Alabama for Title Game".. while they are still making their case...?

I remember the animosity I felt towards the media when they passed on AU in 04 for OU and USC...OR when Herbstreit campaigned for a Michigan/Ohio State rematch in 06...

As an SEC fan, I personally do not want part in this media bias...Save that crap for the West Coast...

EDIT: Nice, even Blacklidge is now pandering to BAMA WHILE commentating for the OU/OK State game..>WTF!!

Its pretty pathetic.... OSU has done everything they needed to tonight and got the loss they needed from VT. Bama needed stuff to fall right for them to get to #2 and now Okie St did, yet espn is still sucking Bama dick.

Tuberville called out ESPN back then. Said they had an agenda.

Tuberville said that this year's BCS title game is already a "done" deal.

"The national media, led by ESPN, wants to see Vince Young versus Matt Leinart in the championship game," he said. "It's going to be those two teams unless Texas or USC get upset."
He went on to allege that last year's matchup of USC and Oklahoma was also the product of a conspiracy.

"If four teams are undefeated at the end of the season, there should be a playoff. There should've been one last year," Tuberville said. "But it's decided already. I don't like it."

The announcer in the osu just said that the voters might think that the bama lost to LSU at home was a game they controlled and should have won so they should be ranked higher than osu.

Although I do think Bama is probably the second best team in the nation, and they deserve to play in the NC, I want OSU for selfish reasons. I couldn't be too excited about just another SEC matchup, no matter what the stakes. Plus, it would just give the SEC haters a lot more fuel to the fire. Especially if it was another low scoring defensive game.

Bingo - Alabama losing to LSU (Gary Daniels calls one of the best teams ever) in overtime totally trumps OSU losing to a pretty bad ISU team in overtime.

Read what you just posted. Bama has the better loss to LSU so they get to play LSU again? (and lose again)

Why is the single loss so important?

Why isn't twice as many wins against ranked BCS teams more important?

I just read the ESPN Recap of the SECCG and it dedicates a paragraph to how "Alabama will have to deal with the Honey Badger"...

Shameful...
