All this is good news

But we will lose a game from poor special teams play, and a fist will hit a table

….Again

He’s closer but still not covering all the weak spots
We are 8-4. We can’t make fun of 8&4 if WE ARE 8 and 4! We are stuck till thé end of this year as 8-4 (8 and 4 if you prefer). Let’s get the frick out of this funk, even if it takes a loss and we are ‘eight n five’ (doubtful). Nine and four is acceptable, if barely. It means we missed a possible SECCG and a ten win season by one game….one…fricking…game. Let that sit in your brain for a moment

Now it’s time to restore the roar. How?
Think of the injuries we had playing USC. That cost us a lot, was it ‘worth it’ to lose talent for the season in a losing effort? I completely understand giving it your all to finish through a tough SEC schedule (and LSU’swasn’t the toughest) so why chance it with a season opening against a tough opponent? It’s when most of the injuries happen also. Playing USC thé LAST game of the season has a lot less hazard, even of same people were hurt

I agree. But if we’d just win our SEC games…even one less loss…we are in. It’s OUR FAULT. We had a way to fix this ourselves

re: AP poll should be investigated

When are we going to realize this WHOLE MESS is OUR FAULT? WE did this to ourselves and the whole playoff system. Lose ONE LESS GAME and we correct a lot of issues. Learn BK….LEARN…it’s a game of tight margins
Like I said in other thread, he’s supporting other coaches very well though. USC, Bama, and Florida’s coaches love him. They’d all be in the hot seat if he beat them
He’s done a good job keeping other coaches employed (USC, Bama, UF). Maybe there’s a payback scheme in there somewhere…
Great! Going to a shrimp boil in Alabama for game. How do I get app to bother others at party?

I’m on that bus like Danny Partridge
What were our odds vs Ole Miss?
So this WOULD be one of those times we could beat Florida by 50 (if only!) and everyone would understand it’s to get better placement at end of year, not running up the score, right?

re: Bama kickoff time is set!

Good. There’s two points in LSUs favor for night game (well 1.7)
No that’s EXACTLY what you want if you have good tacklers (there’s our problem)
Reed is basically a bad passing version of Milroe, makes sense to prep for it, it’s coming either way
If the QB would RUN every quarter or so, we’d keep defenses honest and they wouldn’t sit on routes

re: Why is run blocking so bad?

I’d say we need to be Oregon. What? Hear me out: we have decent pass blocking, so use it to dink passes and have your receivers do the work after with YAC, like Oregon does. We don’t have the line or time to change scheme and improve run blocking in two weeks. But, usi g what you’ve got could fix QB confidence and also play to our better players. Doesn’t fix special teams (yikes as usual) or defensive scheme for Milroe (see Vandy DL scheme to help)
It’s the little things that kill…we lost due to like 6 things lining up wrong (O line run block, predictable play calling, special teams, QB play, no defense to running QB., etc.). But LSU HAD THEIR BOOT ON A&Ms NECK at the end of the first half and went quiet. Points win…pass up points and watch it happen again
