The 2020 Challengers drop in August.

The Bama Recruiting thread usually gets 20-30 posts a day but has crawled to a snails pace over the past few weeks.

Not looking good for the sustainability of Bama’s program

Lotta discrete Aggie activity?

This is true, but there's no ranking for that...
Which is a shame, because that would be incredibly useful to see.
I mean, if you get a 5* RB, a 4* QB, and 2 5* WRs, your class is going to look good.
If your OL is a walking triage unit and you only pickup a 3* and a walk-on, then that puts those other spots in context.

Because it's the slow period?
I don't read that thread, but when I peek at 247 it shows us in the running for several 5* kids, with a few where we're the favorite. That doesn't even include the 4* ones.
We do have 4 3* commits, which might be the most I can remember in recent memory at this stage. Last year we had 1 - our kicker. I know we had more the year before that, but don't think we had that many at the start.
~shrug~ I mean, I guess I could get all worried about it, but that seems rather pointless. Considering current talent, I don't know how long it would take before other teams caught up in overall talent to Alabama with classes like these.

You picked a good time. You knew when to go out on top.

You're right, there's no need to get worked up over the numbers this early. I just thought there were a few teams that were really loading up early and was glad to see LSU is one of them. Now holding on to these early commits is the problem.

LSU has done a helluva job so far

I'm surprised at the number of California kids O has interested in the SEC/LSU.

Another reason I don't get too much into it at this stage.
Heck we just flipped a 4* LB from OU. Why presume who is onboard now stays that way?

These kids change their mind so much there is no reason to put much stock in it
