Exactly, that is why no Bama tard is saying:
Bama 12' >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ATM 12'
But they are. According to the gumps, outside of Johnny Fooball(and AJ was supposedly one game away from winning the Heisman and the gumps would probably be right on board saying AJ was better), that Alabama was better in every way imaginable.

So it would have been tough for JFF to overcome that. Showers was our presumed starter. JFF wasn't thought of as a once in generation type guy during his RS year. He was the guy who did legendary things in HS, but was an afterthought for many Ags, including me.
He would have transferred from Oregon, I imagine.
Also, if you break it down, JFF and Mariota played a very similar amount of time. JFF played a little more, but not nearly as much as many were saying.

The 2012 Alabama team won the National Championship
How is that not better?

And if A&M makes their field goals against Florida they win the Natty. Is that how it works?
Bertolet was perfect against Florida. You're thinking of LSU.

Correct. That is exactly what I was trying to say to you.

NIU could put some absurd numbers this year.
QB:
Jordan Lynch:
3138 yards, 25 TD - 9 INT, 60.2%
1815 yards rushing, 19 TD
They lost to graduation their top WR, but if he gets a compliment at WR and a decent RB, his numbers alone could put them in the competition. Couple that with the ease of their conference, and his numbers could be absurd.
