I still don't understand how it happened

I would argue it's the worst loss by a high major team this season. Certainly a tournament contender.
Arizona State losing to Texas Southern is probably worse. Not by much since it was on the road, but still worse.

lots of power 5 teams in the seven seed to ten seed range often have one of those WTF losses every season
I mean it came AT HOME but it's not too bizarre

(a) Kentucky being in the 7-10 seed range kind of reinforces things there
(b) South Carolina is the #2 worst major conference team in all the metrics - only better than Louisville. They're sub-250. Losing that at home is an absolute anchor around your neck.

This just highlights how unacceptable it was for Kentucky to lose to this South Carolina team at HOME . This SC team is the worst I've ever seen.

Hey friend, here's an honest question : This evening at 6pm LSU hosts Auburn at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.......
which Tigers will you root for? The yellow/blue or the orange/blue ?

I will find a way to be very happy with either outcome, but I expect the orange and blue Tigers to sodomize the yeller and purple ones.
