Sandstorm at #1 really takes the cake as being a "WTF are they possibly thinking?"

I could maybe see it being up there if it had “most exciting” or “most electric” as a caveat, but I struggle to even call it a tradition

Does anyone who plays thunderstruck or zombie nation call that a tradition?

If 90's techno music and 80's towel waving is your thing. I bet saddle oxfords and poodle skirts are really in in Columbia.

Brother, it's an SDS list. It's garbage. It's ok to not take it right to the vagina.

Mr Two bits is an SEC icon. Yellow shirt suspenders, I believe he’s passed now led pregame cheers at the swamp. Florida fans correct me if I’m wrong.

We are the boys of old Florida, sang at the start of the 4th I believe. Both authentic. These are good things about college football.

So basically everything Aubie does is the best ... Inbreeding is such a terrible thing

Credit to Auburn, the eagle flight pregame is solid.

Also LSU’s band rifting Chinese bandits and the go tigers chant at night on the bayou in the upper deck is peak SEC in my opinion. Though It’s better if you have a good view of the golden girls from the lower deck.

Yeah those Gamecock wins in 2007, 2011, and 2019 really stung.

Pretty sure the current college football national champions are over whatever sting may have come about from the handful of times we've lost to USCjr

100% agree. Both traditions are original and authentic. Mr. Two Bits did pass away. I believe they've had guests fill-in including his son. I grew up a Gator fan and it was a thrill when Mr. Two Bits arrived at your section of the stadium.

you name all these things before the 4 corner salute?

I didn’t even include that. I was talking about when they play it in the fourth quarter. It’s my list.

A heartfelt thanks to LSU for your part in in the renaming of our mascot.

Did not know that, but that’s pretty cool.

Coming from a school mascot who's a barnyard animal getting excited for 30 year old music like it's current.

I’m not trying to convince anyone sandstorm is a top 5 tradition or even a tradition at all

It’s a dumb list and I thought it’d be funny to see the replies. Did the Simpsons gif not clue some of y’all in on this?

Just read that post with a defensive tone, as in "We're only doing what everyone else is doing."

I mean, he was responding to the list you posted and giving a reason why it shouldn't be on there. He wasn't saying you all are doing something that none of us do.

He wasn’t responding to me at all, instead responding to a person who asked what sandstorm is like in person

Misunderstanding is all

Mr. Two Bits

Mr. Two Bits passed away in 2019. He was 96. Retired after the 2008 season. Maybe that’s why we’ve gone downhill. Lol
