You sure spent a lot of time "trolling."

They also got to see him throw the most famous pass in college football history.
He threw the BC hail mary? That's pretty awesome.

It always helps when you can play terrible defenses like Idaho and Florida st.
Even against scrubs he looked terrible under Mac. Franks improved a great deal last year. Top 5? Maybe not but I don’t think he’s gonna be losing games for us anymore.

Franks improved his passing a ton vs the ooc scrubs in 2018. He looked about the same in sec play though.

Guarantano threw 246 attempts last season. Even in years loaded down with multiple future NFL running backs in the backfield, Chaney threw more than that. With what UT has coming back at receiver...I see Chaney using the short passing game a lot more than what we saw from Helton last year.
Pruitt probably played a role in that. Him and Kirby probably have simile offensive ideas. Your qb had the same amount of attempts per game last year as Fromm did.

You’re not completely wrong most of his bad games were against SEC comp early in the year. He was still significantly better. If he takes another jump being top 5 in the SEC isn’t crazy. That’s all I’m arguing.

They were close, Fromm had 307 attempts (21.9 attempts per game) while Guarantano had 246 (20.5 attempts per game)...but Georgia also had two 1,000 yard rushers. Tennessee barely had two 500 yard rushers...it would make much more sense to rely on a run game if you actually have one to rely on.

In fairness, he was not particularly impressive in his last 3 SEC games, either. He played poorly against us and Missouri, and the coaches kept running the ball against USCe.
I do get it, though, and think he looked better last year, as a whole. You guys need him to make another jump this year, and your OLine is going to be the big key for that.

The bad passing in sec games went into November. He only showed clear improvement once he ran into some terrible defenses.

I probably hate Franks more than most other fans, but it's completely folly to say that he didn't improve a lot of facets of his game.
I don't think he'll ever account for anything big, but he absolutely started to do things much better than he did last year. In last year's Spring Game, he hit 0 passes over the middle and of course this transferred into the year. He barely made any passes over the middle, had happy feet and his entire game was just absolutely awful.
Fastforward to 2018 and he only had 6 interceptions for the entire year.
Even if Franks is bad, Mullen at least knows how to work around his limitations.

I am just going by the passer efficiency ratings straws. The sec improvement was negligible.

Ole Miss’ QB will be stabbed to death by a OM student at some point.

Does Burrow have the potential to be a dark horse heisman contender this year?
Uh, not a snowballs chance in hell. He'll be lucky to be ranked the 4TH best QB in the SECW. LS8u better find a RB that can help carry the load and their defense better give their offense short fields to work from

I don’t see why everyone is complaining about the list . Tua is clearly number 1 and Fromm is clearly second. After that there isn’t much to brag about .
