That’s a good ?, I’ll put it like it like this, I think he’s worthy of top 5 it’s just I like my top 5 better and to be honest I haven’t done a lot of research on him and Aguilar besides knowing what schools they came from. But I’ll say this, he will let it rip for sure

Do you think Pribula is a better qb than Cook
Posted on 9/11/25 at 7:54 am to BigOrangeKen
He sure do, tough and play with a lot of passion

I really haven’t to be honest

1. Green
2. Pavia
3. Pribula
4. Aguilar
5. Reed
But, it is way too early to draw any real evidence to support what I otherwise feel.

Much better at everything. Pribula is on another level compared to Cook. Cook was from St. Louis and a lifelong Mizzou fan but Pribula is just better.
Pribula is like a Kurt Warner than can run or a Chase Daniel but probably a little better passer than Chase was.
Yes Pribula is the real deal, and if Mizzou stays healthy, we might even be able to make the playoffs.
Pribula has now stared two games, so I'd anticipate he is only going to get better with more experience. At least I hope!

Kurt Warner is an interesting comparison and I know it's based on his accuracy and anticipation. That said, Kurt had a better arm than Pribula. My thought from Game One (especially wearing No. 9) is more Drew Brees with wheels. Not a great arm but so accurate his efficency is off the charts.
My only question is if the OL can hold up.
Everything else is there weapons wise. The best 1-2 RB punch in the league and a bevy of receivers.

What has Stockton done? I'm about as sold on him as I am on Arch right now. Will be interesting to see this list after half of the season. After 2 games, I think it:
1. Mateer
2. Nuss
3- all the rest...

I think both of us will find out about our QB’s in 2 weeks.

we don't know yet if pribula has the clutch gene. cook would have games where he would play poorly enough to put us in a bad spot (or would get hurt and have to go to the hospital), but at the end of the game he would make all the plays he needed to make to put us in the position to win

Mateer, Pavia, Sellers and Nuss top 4 at this time.
TBD on the rest
It will iron out pretty quickly in the next few weeks.

This is true although his multiple comebacks against kansas was encouraging.
