I wonder if those numbers will ever be improved on or if we’ve seen the biggest that stadiums will ever get.

I’ve seen studies show generations after millennials aren’t as interested in sports and the ones that are would rather watch on TV than in person. If so seems like building/renovating smaller, but nicer stadiums with better amenities might be the play for colleges moving forward. Doesn’t make financial sense to go up to 115k or whatever if you can’t fill the seats consistently.

There is plenty of ammo to go after A&M. Kyle Field ain't one of them. Between the size, atmosphere, players amenities, & fan amenities it is unmatched in CFB.

Yankee Stadium is the most luxurious stadium in baseball, doesn't mean it's the best.

Only 8 teams that can seat over 100,000. I don't think teams even care a little about being the 9th.

The three Big Ten stadiums have standing room areas in their stadiums with temporary seating at times. Beaver Stadium is a pink eye, hand/foot/mouth disease epidemic outbreak waiting to happen about 1-2 times a year due to being packed in like sardines.

That is such horseshite.

I've been to three games there .... all three good ones, albeit two were before they enclosed the horseshoe ... when the erector set was still up.

It's not even close to the loudest stadium in the country.

That designation belongs to LSU's Tiger Stadium.

What a mess that stadium is. Only Aggie could spend hundreds of millions on a stadium upgrade and end up with that.

Aren’t Michigan bench seats something like 11” wide?

I do not know about the width of the seats but most Michigan fans are fat.
