You missed a couple of guys from State on the defensive side of the ball that should merit consideration:

DD Lewis (SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 1967).
Johnie Cooks (absolute beast at MLB and was the Second Overall Pick in the 1982 NFL Draft)

I guess if you're building an SEC Mount Rushmore, then you'll need someone to work security. That would be a good job for Cocaine Johnny.

Excuse me....Cocaine John

Charlie Conerly
Reggie White
Steve Spurrier
Johnny Robinson

A lot of possibilities. Too many to decide between.

You gotta have spurrier in there - for what he did as a player and a coach. He won a heisman as a player and revolutionized the game as a coach.

Spurrier
Bo Jackson
Herschel Walker
Tim Tebow

I'd go with Wesley Carroll, Ray Ray Bivines, TJ Mahwinney, and Odell "Toast" Ridley.

But that's just me.

From most of the posts, it appears there are two clear (no surprise) automatics on the SEC Mt. Rushmore: Herschel and Bo. No problem with that at all. The other two spots are certainly debatable. Given so many SEC Heisman winners, that appears to be a requirement. I'd go with Billy Cannon and Tebow.

Maybe each school should give their Mt. Rushmore?
LSU
Billy Cannon - Heisman
Tommy Casanova - 3 time AA
Jerry Stovall - Heisman runner-up
Bert Jones - AA Quarterback

Honorable mention: Jim Taylor, YA Tittle, Johnny Robinson, Steve Van Buren, Charlie Alexander, Dalton Hilliard, Michael Brooks, Tommy Hodson, Kevin Faulk, Glenn Dorsey, Patrick Peterson, Tyran Mattheu, Leonard Fournette, Devin White

ZERO argument on Herschel and Bo. As for the other 2 nominees, it would seem you have to go with Manning and any SEC Heisman winner since 1960 [Sullivan, Ingram, Cannon, Spurrier, Wuerfel, Henry, Tebow, Manziel, & Cam] [no Rogers because USC-E not in the SEC when he played]

I also think you have to have at least 3 years, which eliminates Cam and Manziel. Out of the ones who are left, Manning, Spurrier, Tebow, Henry, and Ingram stand out.

I would go with Tebow and Manning.
