Why would Peyton be included? Using that logic, Emmitt should be there as well.

Peyton should have won the Heisman. Emmitt not in same class.

Rogers and Crow not eligible.
Ingram

No Reggie White or Derrick Thomas on that list........so list is shite. Those two are in any discussion of SEC greats, no matter how short the list is.

Yeah, the all-time leading rusher in NFL history isn't in the same class.

Let me know when a lsu qb breaks the SEC offense record back to back years.

Your players put up the Heisman stance and then don’t even get invited.

And Peyton is behind the likes of Aaron Murray and Chris Leak.

You're the one bringing up rankings. I was just countering your NFL ranking with a ranking that should matter if we are talking SEC football. If rankings are your thing. Rankings don't matter so much to me

Jared Lorenzen weighs the same as all four. Save money on one carving but not material. Job done.

How about one for offense and one for defense (3 sure things and 1 debatable):
Offense:
Hershel
Bo
Billy Cannon
Tim Tebow/Peyton/Archie/John Hannah

Defense:
Derrick Thomas
Tommy Casanova
Reggie White
Champ Bailey/Lee Roy Jordan/Cornelius Bennett

Names that probably won't get mentioned but should

Lee Roy Jordan - All-american at Center and linebacker
Frankie Sinkwich - Passed for 30 touchdowns and rushed for 30 touchdowns at UGA
Don Hutson - invented the pass routes still used today (arguably the greatest player ever)
John Hannah - one of the greatest linemen of all time

Pat Sullivan, Charley Trippi, Spurrier

Hutson should be on a level all by himself. I believe he still holds some records
