I'm not going to let a South Carolina fan backpage a post that I just spent 20 minutes typing.
Repost.
Backup qb Lemay played 4th quarter in FL ATL game.
LINK
Murray was on the bench midway through the 3rd quarter in the Vanderbilt game, even walk-on qb Parker Welch got to play in that 48-3 blowout.
LINK
In the Auburn game, Welch and Lemay split the 4th quarter while Murray was on the bench.
LINK
Against GA Southern, our walk-on Welch even got to throw a TD pass while Murray was on the bench.
LINK
He also sat out in the Ole Miss game after the 8:29 mark LINK and the GA Tech game where Welch and LeMay got more playing time. LINK LINK
Lemay also got some time in the Buffalo game after they sat down Murray. See previous link. Moron.

I saw Murray in there in the 4th quarter in a lot of those blowout games.

Driske..... Nevermind...
BUT he should be improved with the weapons at reciever we are getting this year... With that being said...
1. AJ McCarron
2. Johnny Manziel
3. Aaron Murray

I can't say for certain, but I think Saban played him through all 4 quarters in all of the games.

Well this is just incorrect.

Both McCarron and Murray are about equal in that they both serve their respective roles exceptionally well.
Murray has been counted on as being the other 50% of UGA's offense opposite Gurshall/Crowell/King-Ealey.
McCarron has been counted on as being an extension of the coach on the field and to make the big pass plays when the situation arises.
Murray, for all intents and purposes, is the better, more well-rounded QB.
McCarron is the superior operator of his offense and, I would say, is much more cool under pressure (hence the titles Bama has under his tutelage).
Well said

We get it, Manziel had one fricking great year. Keep in mind, however, that a padding stats versus the mighty SMUs and SC States of the world doesn't blow me away.
Hey, djackson1892, he sat out the last half of both MSU AND AUBURN games, so I don't wanna hear it.

Manziel is just getting started while AJ and AM are singing swan songs. He's going to be much better at the QB position next year, as he improved by leaps and bounds over the season.
If he was a few inches taller, and a few pounds heavier he'd be the best QB prospect out there. This is a fight for number two

Hard to argue with your three.

Oh okay, individual offensive statistics. So Manziel is amongst Case Keenum, Colt Brennan and the like. I thought for a second there were other goals in football besides running up the score and glorifying oneself.
AJ's won two championships.
Does that make him better than Cam?
P.S. -- Not one of the aforementioned are among the three others who, along with JFF, are the only QBs to ever throw for 20 TDs and pass for 20 TDs.

Lets give A.J. some credit. It's hard to throw the football with all those N.C. rings on your fingers. The others don't have that problem.

1. Put a talented but not spectacular guy at QB and surround him with NFL talent
2. Talk shite about a freshman phenom Heisman winner
3. ???
4. profit

Is this a football board, or some kind of homer-infested popularity contest?
Guy led the SEC in rushing -- as a QB -- in a derivative of an Air Raid offense. He also ranked #2 in passing yards, #1 in completion %, and #4 in passing TDs. He passed Newton in total yards in two fewer games, while sitting out just over 8 quarters.
So say what you like, but put Manziel's season anywhere other than #1 in SEC history and you've gone full retard.

Unrelated: Am I the only one that feels Johnny Football is the dumbest fricking nickname in sports?
