Gonna be flopping like a S. American soccer match.

my only problem with rice is that while it is the best institution in terms of academics, rice doesnt have the same power that tu and a&m have
$4 billion+ endowment. Land they own probably worth another $600 million or so. One of the highest-ranked private universities in the U.S. for research and academics.
They have under 4,000 undergrad enrollment, and are essentially irrelevant all-time in most major sports, but "lack of power" is not a real issue for them. Read up on the proposed merger with Baylor College of Medicine. Rice flexed all the muscle they needed when that proposal came into the light.
In any event, the correct answer here is Tech.

A&M doesn't have weekend classes. Sorry to disappoint.

I'm not sure what is being asked in this thread.
Based on the second half of each team's 2012 season, and the overwhelming homerism of both program's fan bases, was looking for some (possibly more) objective opinions of where each team was at the end of 2012.
I even gave the swamp kitties bowl "home field" advantage.
Hypothetical Sugar Bowl -- LSU vs A&M -- Jan 1, 2013

Yes, I know the seven reasons why this could not have occurred under the current rules -- that's why it says "hypothetical."
Winner and final score?

Undefeated against Johnny Manziel.
LSU won that game in spite of their offense. With your entirely new defensive roster don't expect another 5 turnover game -- you'll have to score more a bit more than 24 to win this year...

Bama coaches are already preparing for A&M. Desinated some players to shut him down and have them working on the plan.
A&M is doesn't not know what is about to hit them.
Why don't you talk to Mike and Bob Stoops about that? The complete assjacking they took in the CB came after a month of preparation, and was one of OU's worst losses in years...

anyone that thinks that aTm doesn't lose at least 4-5 games last yr w/out JFF is not worth having a true discussion with.
Agreed, but we also might have had a completely different outcome against LSU, too. That was probably Manziel's worst outing.

It also makes me laugh at the so-called prospect ranking "experts."
15 signees -- 4 of which are OL -- and they're a top 25 class?
bullshite.

This thread made my morning. So much jealousy of a 20 year-old kid.
Perspective, people. Perspective.
re: Best QB that nobody remembers at your school?

Pullig hasn't been forgotten.
I'd have to go with Mark Farris -- but in 5 years the answer will be Jerrod Johnson.

You have to admit though --- they looked at the back of his jersey for a good 3+ quarters last time they played.

fans, Auburn and Arkansas are down currently and while they probably won't be for much longer TAMU is benefiting from bad situations at both schools and a 5'10 star QB that Arkansas would not even look at. Good, Good for them, hope they enjoy it while it last because it will not be but for a few more years.
Agreed.
But it will be fun curbstomping your pathetic asses this season anyway.

That's now officially my *third* favorite pic of an SEC West signal caller...

Olde -- adj., archaic
(Colloquial) contraction of 'olde' -- 'ol'e'
Hence, Ol'e (Ole) Miss

Using that logic -- we have A&M close in 1993:
Baseball #4
Football #6 (for '92 season -- '93 season finished #8)
