Bama might still have gotten in, but no way over Ole Miss. There is not one chance the committee was going to leave out Ole Miss as an SEC Champ who beat Bama, and put in Bama.
Bama would have had to beat out either Mich St or Oklahoma, and I am not sure the committee leaves off a 1 loss conference champ for a 1 loss non-conference champ.

So they're 8? With the same record? Get a grip dude.
You've provided nothing other than "yeah huh because Bama" as your argument.
Sorry that doesn't convince me.

Answer the question. Top 4 Bama falls past #7? Ole Miss's strength only bolsters Bama's claim. You're just wrong about Ohio state.

You can look at stats on paper all day but if you weren't in the SEC when these guys played you should refrain from comparing them. Hell, you were probably in elementary school when DMAC played.

Yes, and I've given reasons why. Now you try to do the same, seeing as you still havent.

Ole Miss and Stanford likely both have a stronger case if Alabama doesn't win the SEC title. I don't know why this bothers you so much. This was actually discussed quite a bit right after the Ole Miss/Arkansas game.

Ole Miss wasn't getting into playoff. SEC would of been left out of Playoff last year.

Incredible about face from LSU fans.
I guess that means we deserved to be their in 2011 after all!

If Ole Miss had won the SEC with one loss, they would have easily been in the playoff. What are you people smoking?

I don't think Ohio St is in the conversation. They didn't even make the top 4 without Ole Miss being a factor. Ole Miss being SEC Champ bumps Ohio St down not up.

I saw him first hand in Tuscaloosa twice and in Fayetteville once, all as a student.
He was great.

Had Ole Miss beat Arkansas:
1. They beat UF in the SECCG and go to the playoff. Bama doesn't go.
2. They lose to UF in the SECCG and no SEC team goes. Bama included.
It's not really that difficult of a concept to grasp.

Maybe it wouldn't be tOSU. That doesn't make you look any better in this argument.
