And a whopping 17 points.
On a serious note, are you hoping to turn everyone on an SEC board into PAC-10 fans? Or is it a, if I just reach one of them mentality? I seriously don't see why you feel you have to take on this plight.
We get it, USC is a good team year in and year out, but I don't think you will convince many, if any one on here that the PAC-10 is one of the best conferences this year. It doesn't matter what the stats are (SOS info), where you are getting your info (Vegas), or which ranking method you use (Saragin)... this is an SEC board.
That is all, please continue this goat rope.

Do you get tired of the constant love-affair w/ your trojans?
Do you get tired of the annual "USC is the bestest team ever" jibber-jabber from the sports press?
Do you get tired of your trojans being in such a pathetic conference that strength-of-schedule inadequacies take a one-loss USC team out of contention for the title game?

I think the national championship game this year should be between Florida and USC. In my opinion I think that is the best match up in the country. I would like to see Alabama play Texas Tech and see how Mike Leech runs the spread against a blitzing Defense. That would be a freaking shoot out game. I think Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Texas TECH are the top teams in the country. Thats just my observation

Might be similar to 3 years ago when we beat them 13-10 in a bowl game.

Not really. The real experts in Vegas have USC as the best team in the country, but the media has us outside the top-5.
Enough already. You continue to make yourself look stupid. Shut up with your USC, Pac 1 shite. And you speak of real experts in Vegas? That is strictly your opinion. Florida, Texas, OU, and Texas Tech are all just as good as USC.

First off lets throw Alabama out, they would not stand a chance.
Texas Tech, OU, Texas. None of those teams has a defense to slow USC down. Certainly they have potent passing offenses, but USC has the #1 overall pass defense, total defense, scoring defense, and pass efficiency defense. They would be lucky to score more than 21 vs USC and I do not think they could hold USC under that.
Florida. Florida has a more balanced offense with the option game, and a better defense than the above 3. I think USC would win because we are more physical than Florida. It would be a tough game, but the Florida playmakers would get beat on like they never had. We would be able to pressure Tebow which is key to stopping Florida.
Vegas had New England as the best team in the NFL last year. After the game was over they still would have been the number 1 team in Vegas but being the number one team in Vegas didn't win them a championship. When you have a weak schedule and take a loss to Oregon State, then your chance at a title is pretty small.
I'm not sure how you can argue that nobody can play with USC when Oregon State beat them. Beyond that, mediocre Arizona, Cal, and Oregon State all held the USC offense to 21 points or below.
I think USC is good but look at a few things:
UCLA scored more point on Cal than USC. Arizona put up 25 more points on Cal than USC. New Mexico put up more than twice as many points on Arizona than USC. The offense has not been great.
Holding Ohio State to 3 looked amazing until Penn State held them to 6. Overall though the USC defense has been very very good. However if you hold Oregon State to 27, then I don't see why you would assume Texas, Tech, and OU couldn't score 21.
The offense has been mediocre. I'm not certain why you would assume USC rolls all of the top teams when they haven't played any team of that calibur.
Look at the schedule and count how many quality wins you see. At this point USC may not even win the PAC 10 if Oregon State wins out.
Aug. 30 at Virginia W 52-7
Sep. 13 Ohio State W 35-3
Sep. 25 at Oregon State L 21-27
Oct. 4 Oregon W 44-10
Oct. 11 Arizona State W 28-0
Oct. 18 at Wash. St. W 69-0
Oct. 25 at Arizona W 17-10
Nov. 1 Washington W 56-0
Nov. 8 California W 17-3
USC is good but the haven't shown enough to be feared like in previous years.

4 quality wins. You say CAL, Zona. Oregon St are mediocre but they are clearly on par with LSU. In the Sagarin predictor and in the LVSC poll, there are 5 PAC-10 teams among the best 25 in the nation. You want to compare scores, but you really cannot do that. Each game is different. CAL did everything they could to play ball control and to shorten the game. Yardage wise it was 411 to 165. CAL was dominated, there only score a FG came after 2 15 yard penalties that also happened to negate 2 USC interceptions. The 1st one was total bs, the 2nd was legit. Even after those penalties we still got a hand on the ball but it just barely squeaked in there.

The thing is though that you have nearly ZERO substantial evidence for why USC should be among the best in the nation. The Sagarain predictor and the LVSC poll are not national used for a reason, becasue they are b.s.
that's hilarious, i can see USC being the top 25 and maybe Cal but every other team is nothing spectacular this year, your an absolute idiot if you think that anybody here thinks you are the least bit logical. By the way Bama Florida and UGA would beat USC hands down, and as for LSU they'd put up a hell of a game and have a good chance of coming out with a win. You obviously don't think that these SEC defenses would be able to shut your shite down, which is where you are very very wrong

You quote your stats too much, that is why they play the games. I bet on paper O State didn't stand a chance, right.............

Fix your conference where there is some competition and then come back. I.e. add two teams and a champ game.

The SEC is not that great this year and outside of Florida and Alabama nobody plays that good of defense. You can choose to be as ignorant as you wish, but the truth is the truth.
You do know that the SEC has a losing record ooc once you remove the MAC, The Sun Belt, the 1AA'a, the Western Kentucky's (independant) and conference USA.
Between the PAC-10, The Big-10, the ACC, The Big-12, the MWC, the WAC and the The big east you do not have a winning record against a single one of those conferences. Nobody is buying into the sec hype machine this year.

USC is #1 in the Sagarin predictor, Oregon St is #16. Sure it was an upset, but it was not like losing to Arkansas or Kentucky.

Honestly though your defense has been great and your offense has had good days and bad.
I just don't think there is anyway you can say that you would stop every Big 12 team from scoring 21 when you gave up 27 to Oregon State. I also don't see how you can assume your offense would go wild on every team when Cal, Zona, and Oregon State held you to 21 points or below.
USC is as good as anyone but that loss to Oregon State was crushing. Realistically the SEC is down this year but the PAC 10 is really having a rough time.
I think also some of the teams that you're counting as quality wins had some bad losses out of conference. Zona losing to a 4-7 New Mexico, Cal losing to Maryland, Oregon State getting squashed by Penn State.
The SEC having LSU, Auburn, and Tenn down makes the conference much weaker than usual but if you have to run through teams like Florida, then it helps with perception.

Quit crying, you lost to OSU who has three loses.
USC does not deserve to be in the NCG this year!

Stop repeating your statistics with all the conferences. Name the big SEC teams this year and tell me what games they have lost to these conferences where our records are bad. UGA threw down on ASU and as for anything else its the teams on the lower end of the SEC that are losing so stop with your bullshite. Your a dumbass USC fan, which seems to be just like every one of your other fans, so stfu with this arguement, your gonna lose

I am speaking mainly of a bowl game scenario where historically Pete Carroll has had USC ready to play. Sure week in and week out you cannot bring your A game and upsets are going to happen.

Ohio st. was an upset? i think not
