Let's not forget HOW Fulmer became the head coach. Johnny Majors still has the scars on his back from Phil's knife.

Lol what a misinformed take.

but Peyton is Haslam's puppet.

This has crossed my mind...but, I don't think Fulmer is a Haslem guy and Peyton is a big Fulmer ally. I don't know what to think anymore.

McElwain is a pussy though. The guy made up fake death threats. Do you really think that's a representative data point?

What IS it with Florida coaches anyway? Heart defects that mysteriously disappear when Ohio State comes calling? Fake death threats to get out of a job?

Somewhere with a towel in his hand Trooper Taylor is having a big ole belly laugh. Trooper tried to get Fat Phil to promote him to the OC when Cutt left town.

If I told you Vol fans what I know about what deal was on the table that both Haslam and Peyton nixed it would make you sick. Peyton wants a job in the front office so he will do/say whatever Haslam wants him to. The reason Fulmer or Blackburn isn't the AD is because of Haslam. Until that family goes away, UT is fricked. This is what happens when an administration lets boosters make decisions for them.

The Peyton to the Browns as Gm/VP Ops rumors have been out for a while.

And I agree completely about the Haslams. Currie is a puppet like his mentor Hamilton before him. Thats why he got the job out of nowhere over Phil and Blackburn.

We need an AD like Dickey that will keep their asses in line

I'm pretty sure Trooper Taylor had nothing to do with that but thanks for your contribution

Do tell. If it's about a coach(not Gruden) then I think I have already heard about it, just didn't put much stock into it.

Well - hiring Brohm would have been a pretty solid move. Not sure firing Currie right now is worth losing that guy.
