I saw on twitter from an LSU beat writer last night that John Brady's name is in the mix. Is that accurate?

I remember when it was API, do you? To be exact, it's been over 5 decades. Delusional-look in the mirror. Give you the facts- your in denial. I bet your one of those that don't believe in global warming.

Brady is at Arky St right now.

Someone yesterday mentioned Tyndall from USM. I think he's got a chance to be a good coach, but I don't know if he's right for the Auburn job.

it was pretty apparent within the first few months that barbee was not a good fit at auburn from a recruiting standpoint. Overall, i think he did a solid job recruiting, but once they actually got to campus, he had no clue how to keep them on the team and/or develop their skills.

Pelphrey was the same way.

So was Capel at Oklahoma.

All of these guys have the reputation of being "ace recruiters", but on their own it showed they do not have the skills to run a program and it is easier to say "I'm coach x, I want you to play for Donovan/Calipari/CoachK" Than it is "I'm coach x, I want you to play for me at X U".

The other problem with these guys and their attrition is it makes the next hire even that much more important while stunting the ability of that coach to turn things around quickly due to the attrition effecting the APR. So you are basically locking into the next HC for 5 maybe 6 years, so it has to be a good one hired.

stAte is ready for him to move on, but can't afford to fire him.

Arkansas has really good basketball talent instate right now, top tier talent going to top tier programs along with really, really solid talent going places other than Jonesboro.

Jeff Capel has been mentioned along with an Ohio St. assistant.
