Have you seen who they play?
Their top 2 opponents are Notre Dame and Indiana. The rest of their schedule are teams who are commonly referred to as cupcakes.

Look in the bright side, the big mouth OSU troll is silenced.

Sorry, but how a team played last year shouldn't matter.
No way should a one loss bama (to an unranked team) be ahead of an undefeated big 10 team with a better win than anything bama has.
Sorry you're such a spoiled sport. However, Texas A&M definitely should and will be ranked ahead of Auburn in their sissy blue & orange shirts!

This is kind of a tired take that happens every year. Their best win is against an overrated ND team that struggled with Florida State and a few others. If Cincinnati wants to break through, they need to pray for losses or start scheduling more teams with a pulse.

I will never understand the hysteria and melting over the first CFP rankings. It’s going to work itself out one way or the other.

Unfortunately we State fans know this all too well.

If you think Bama isn’t the 2nd best team in the country over any of those others, I don’t know what to tell you
I don’t think they are the second best team, but I also don’t know which team(s) I would rank above them.
I don’t blame the committee for giving them the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, they are definitely a top 4 team for now. They’ll either be exposed or earn their ranking going forward.

When those losses occurred and injuries to specific positions are equally important..

Bama has earned the benefit of a doubt. One fluke last second loss on the road doesn't change that.
What about all the points they allowed A&M to score?

it's almost like...the rankings on december 5th won't look anything like they do tonight. Crazy.

They need to go back to a BCS model with only computer models.
The computers were a disaster. That might have been one of the dumbest ideas in the history of organized sport.

Saban is 3-7 @ Jordan Hare and has also never beaten an Auburn team that has at least 9 wins.

Auburn must have a lot of seasons they don’t win 9 games?

LMAO at the Bama fans with their overinflated sense of self importance. My post has nothing to do with you. Get over yourself.
The point of my thread is the whole system is still the same shite we’ve had all along. You still have (1) people putting a poll together based on their opinion and (2) people arguing over their decision.
The only solution is a true playoff where teams play their way in on the field. Name doesn’t matter, “style points” don’t matter, only thing that matters is wins and losses. Until we get this, FBS college football, the greatest sport in the world, will forever be a glorified beauty pageant.
