He was good enough to win the game but not great.

He wasn’t asked to be great.

Today’s offensive scheme was as vanilla as it possibly could have been.

Probably wishes he had more time to throw. Offensive line got destroyed in pass protection

It's hard to be great when you are under pressure the whole game. Offensive line pass blocking was poor. Looked like it did against Auburn.

The slant passes and quick developing passes were there all night. Unfortunately Bob doesn't know what is going on and calls some long developing pass plays.

He had no time. Oline did a poor job in pass protection.

He did not have a great night. Missed several open receivers. Yet his team won a National semifinal game by 21 points. He’ll likely get over it.

He is a sophomore who won the Heisman and is getting ready to win the CFP. What have you done?

Why y’all so defensive. The statement is true and not an unfair assessment. Some of y’all need to back away from the kool aid in the juice box.

It was a bit of the Heisman curse. After winning the Heisman, QBs usually don’t fare well in the bowls.

Honestly I think his height may be an issue.

Notice that whenever a defense blitzes multiple players up the middle he has trouble completing his passes but if you give him a pocket or play action he has no trouble picking a defense apart.

It's not a problem exclusive to him and his line doesn't help him enough but I think it may be a big factor when he struggles.

Great kid and player though, I'll take him over any other qb in cfb.
