A period of one hundred years. Colloquially, when someone references "the (current) century," it is typically referencing the period of time beginning in the most recent year xx00 and ending at the conclusion of year xx99. This differs when someone references "a century" or "over the last century (or 100 years)" which would indicate a reference to the 100 years preceding the current year.

Let me know if any of the big words give you trouble.

It's always been the Saban Bowl.

Jackie Moon: In the anals of history people are going to be talking about three things: the discovery of fire, invention of the submarine, and the Flint, Michigan Mega Bowl.

I think Mega Bowl could work.

Doesn't matter,,, game didn't become a rivalry until 2008. Bama 6-2 in the Rivalry games.

how convenient for you. Yes, it didn't feel like a rivalry during five in a row.

New suggestions:

The win streak classic

Only important when Bama is good.

trophy

Remember the year that the Mobile, Ala. Register newspaper said that pigs might fly if LSU won?

Perhaps this is a fitting trophy:

Actually, if you're looking at it that way, it would be 6-3 because LSU won the first Saban Bowl in Bryant-Denny in 2007.

Also, since Bear left, LSU has the longest winning streak in the series at 5 in a row.
