If we are going on simply arm strength. I've got JaMarcus Russell first then Jaime Howard-then everybody else... Don't forget Howard had a legit 99 mph fast ball in High School and was drafted by the Braves.
I was at the game. Cajuns lost 46-10. It was a real blood bath. Jennings looked ok. He played decent against the Boise St. 3rd team in the 2nd half... He certainly didn't look good against their starters...
Yeah Let's lose 3 games every November and say it's been great???

Aleva should be fired ASAP! He is clearly stupid!

I believe Colin Jeter is a serious lialibity in run blocking. He is not physical enough at the point of attack. I'm sure he's a great kid and may be a very talented receiver but his run blocking was aweful last year. If we are to beat Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas this season he had better improve by getting a mean streak because last season he was so soft!!! If he plays better this season I'll be happy to make a retraction post about Colin Jeter and I sure hope I do. I hope he reads my post as motivation and starts to run block like a man not a boy. I'll be watching.
The way I understand it-The NCAA has given the green light in their eyes he (Valentine) is clear to play. Now the SEC has decided to look into the matter after a certain Coach from a certain school has requested the SEC look into the situation. This is totally exhausting. The SEC office is attempting to wield way too much power over this poor kid who has struggled for years to get eligible. To me it's disgusting and despicable to torture this kid another minute-He to his credit has busted his arse to get back into school. He has done everything he can academically and now the SEC office does this. You can bet your arse they aren't working this weekend to get the matter cleared up. I hate the SEC Birmingham office because I believe they are corrupt, and don't care about these collage aged kids! Disgusting!
The one thing that really stands out to me during the game two years ago was your two starting DT got hurt during the middle of the game. They (Wisconsin) were dominating us up front until the second starting DT went down with an injury in the third quarter. Had they not been injured I believe more than likely we (LSU) would have lost that game.
I also remember Wisconsin's QB struggled that day and Diarse made a game changing touchdown that shifted the momentum for the Tigers. Wisconsin rallied late and almost pulled it out. Oh yeah, and that damn Melvin Gordon was a player!
I don't know where but Auburn's Bo Jackson and Brent Fulwood should be on the list as well as LSU's Kevin Faulk and Cecil Collins. Both should be on this list somewhere.
He is the greatest high school basketball player I have ever seen. He was the most exciting college basketball player I have ever seen. He absolutely deserves to have his jersey retired.
Pretty bad at my house. I hate baseball, golf, and fishing. It's hot as hell in Louisiana right now. Needing football season and Fall weather so bad!

I think we may have a shot at Walker Little. He's Marvin Wilson's High School teammate. He looks incredibly talented. I hope Grimes can get him.

I've been following the Tigers since 1978 and these are the only 2 centers that I think were better than Ethan Pocic. Ethan may end up an All-American this year.

1.) Nacho Albergamo All-American
2.) Ben Wilkenson All-American Rimington Award winner
Their was a great football player from New Iberia Named Leroy Etienne. He played linebacker for Tom Osborne at Nebraska and was a dominant college player. Don't know if they are related.
Disappointing to hear. I was hoping he'd end up a Tiger. I really think A&M got a really good RB.

LSU wins late 12-6. Jamie Howard gets some redemption after taking so much heat from the disaster Auburn game two years earlier. Howard was carried off the field. Then watching another buddy elude the cops all over the stadium was icing on the cake. Howard was and is still a good friend so I was very happy for him. Always felt bad for Howard 3 offense coordinators in 4 years. I always wondered how good he could have been under a different era like Saban or Miles. Those Hallman years were a nightmare!

I vote Stevenson. A great tiger and a great kid!

You might want to consider Pete's on Johnston St. They have pretty good onion rings and cheese burgers. They have video games for the kids and multiple TV's for the adults.

I concur-I believe that it's very difficult to beat the same team twice in a season. Ex. Bama vs. LSU 2011. Go Dawgs! But I really believe Florida beats them. UGA really seems to be struggling lately since the Chubb injury and Florida has really looked great all year and especially good against LSU at Tiger Stadium in the loss. That game (Fla vs. LSU) could have gone either way and was exciting until the very end. Geaux Tigers!
