The only consolation I would have if LSU loses to aTm is the thought of that locking in Jimbo for at least another year. We are playing with house money already with our 1st year coach and I’d like to ride this wave as far as we can this year. Would suck to lose, for sure, but would laugh my arse off when it’s confirmed that Jimbo returns next year.

If we are being honest, I think this game stays close. It should be easy for aTm to get up for this game considering last season’s loss in Death Valley and the disappointment of this season. That said, Jimbo hasn’t shown the ability to fire his guys up once this year.

aTm has NOTHING to lose and pride to gain. Kelly better make sure his players don't forget that they actually have to play the game to get the win.
aTm has played a couple of good teams close. LSU is a better team, but since when does that matter in the SEC.

I'm just disappointed Max Johnson won't be playing QB. It would be so...right if he were to have thrown the pass last season to seal 8&4 for aTm then get eaten alive this season to seal 4&8. Total tAlignment.

ETA: This game is their season. They are going to do everything they can to redeem a horrible year and keep us out of the running for the #4 spot in the CFP. They are going to bring it.

I don’t think anyone is overlooking aTm this season despite their record. I didn’t like the Arkansas game and I don’t like this one. We are definitely the better team with the better coach but Jimbo could use a miracle right now.
