When has Ole Miss ever won 10 regular season games ? When have we ever won 11 ? College football has changed since 2020. Ole Miss, MSU and the Egg Bowl have changed. We're a top 15 job now. MSU's head coaching gig doesn't even crack the top 25.

lol way below Vandy. Kentucky basketball probably elevates them above MSU. I honestly can’t think of an SEC school below MSU….and I don’t even hate MSU.

27 years ago in a down year in the SEC, State went 6-2 in the SEC and fluked their way into the championship game and got beat by Tennessee, then got boat raced 38-11 in the Cotton Bowl by Texas.
State finished unranked with a 8-5 record in its greatest year ever of 1998 (according to Schtate fans). Ole Miss finished with a 7-5 record that year.
For the record State has 1 SEC championship to its record: 1941. Ole Miss has 6.
1998 was the high water mark for State football. And it culminated in a loss in Atlanta. That is laughable but true to form.
