It baffles me that people think Scott linehan is a bad hire. Compare him against Todd Monkin?

Todd Monken was a great college OC. Keep in mind he wasn’t the play caller in Cleveland. He has been good everywhere’s he’s gone.

Linehan not so much. This doesn’t mean he will be bad though.

What happened the last year he was there in Dallas. Jerry Jones didn't give Dak a number one recover. When they got Cooper the offensive opened up. Linehan was good.

Lol cope. Linehan sucked donkey dick at Dallas. Zero innovation and horrible play calling especially in critical situations.

Scott Linehan may work out. But up till know evidence points to Monken being better.

This is a dumb comparison because they dont even hold the same position.

Linehan isn't calling plays. He is being brought in to work with qb's and wr's. I mean Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson were two of his pupils who had some of their best seasons under his tutelage. Linehan is the one who made Dante Culpepper look like a legit NFL qb.

Not a soul on this forum has a clue to how well or how bad Linehan will be at his job. Just like they didn't with Brady.

If O wanted Linehan to run the offense then Linehan wouldve been named OC.

Same with Joe Brady.

Moss was already averaging 1400 yards a season when he came on board. He had his best and his worst year under him (during his peak time).

Calvin on the other hand had some monster years under him.

Linehan produced some great offenses at Minnesota with Culpepper and Moss and at Detroit with Stafford and Johnson. Romo's 2nd best season was under Linehan and he was also instrumental in developing Dak into a very good rookie which was his best season before this year which may be statistically better, but also had a lot of inconsistency issues.

Linehan may flop, but he's been a part of some really good offense.

Todd Monken.... because he's at Georgia.

Honestly, who knows. Depends on what kind of quarterback play they have to work with.

This thread didn't go as you hoped did it? By every metric Monken is better than Linehan based on success.

Are you really that insecure about people trolling Linehan that you felt the need to make this silly thread?

Which metrics exactly?

Fun Fact: Monken was also LSU's PGC for a year.
