Our Recruits come from Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. We are a better geographic fit for the East and would add some competitive balance to a division that struggles to be respectable

Maybe one day the REC will allow the SEC office to do the right thing and move Auburn to the East where they belong

Agreed. I think Auburn played UF and UT every year before 2000.

Gump and barn to the east. mizzou and vandy to the west. Stop permanent cross division opponents

Damn, that would be hard to get used to.. I probably wouldn't mind it after a couple of years.

if you're scared, say you're scared.

Another example of Auburn's fierce and competitive rivalries with SECe schools

No, we're not going to gift wrap the SECw for LSU on our way out the door. Bama stays to keep the divisions balanced

Is this the part where you tell us the REC is scared of Auburn going to the East because they would be able to recruit in Florida or something equally asinine?

Nah I'd rather go east too. Rivalries with AU and UT and rekindle old rivalry with UGA. Would suck to lose LSU but don't really care at all about the other games.

As an LSU fan, no thanks.

LSU would be guaranteed a spot in ATL every year

Yea, that'd be almost an ACC like yearly schddule for LSU.

On the plus side no more whining about schedules.

I would hate losing the AL schools on our yearly schedule.

I would hate to lose LSU. That's about it though. Have no real feeling either way towards the other 4.

No, 1991 was the last year of playing Auburn on a yearly basis.

After '91 I think it was 7 years before we played them again.

Yea, its almost always a great game. Same with Auburn. Those 2, plus Ole Miss and A&M, are the only games I care about playing every season.(though I prefer only once )
