And boy, do people's panties get bunched up when discussing the topic
do they ever. People here act like it's impossible to enjoy your football program without playing an annual rivalry game. Hell, just pointing out that a&m doesn't have a rival and that is how we want it to be gets you downvoted into oblivion

I wish the conference would reduce to 8 teams
Alabama
Auburn
Lsu
Florida
Tennessee
Georgia
aTm
Arkansas

Round robin, 2or3 top notch OOC games, and a couple of tune up games a year. I know ithe conference wouldn't be as strong financially, but from a competive standpoint nothing could compare.

Bad news, LSU and Arkansas are A&M's rivals.

But then again, all SEC West teams are each others' rivals according to definition 1.

Sorry.

I 100% agree with Auburn being in the East.

Move the Iron Bowl to earlier in the year, and the SEC Championship game (cause we'd still beat the crap out of everyone else) between Bama and Auburn would be epic.
