I don't care what you think. I know it's true. This possession bull shite is a load of crap made up by State fans. If they think this is going to help them recruit MC then they have another thing coming. All it is doing is hurting them in recruiting in one of the hot beds in the state for SEC talent.

because he is one of the top recruits in the state- thats why...stop with that crap- if it was a State commit, you guys would have this thread at 10 pages by now

I think it is one thing if he is convicted, but charged is another story. I know you will disagree with me on this but that is what I think responsible reporting is, especially when a 17 year old is involved.

Why is a 17 who is charged with a misdemeanor worthy of a full fledged story?
Because they are in the business of making money and football/high profile recruits sell.

I once got a misdemeanor for open container in Clarksdale. It didn't make the paper. Oh, and it was dropped...

I got an open container in Ridgeland over the break and it cost me 285 bucks.

When he is charged- it becomes a story. You dont get charged unless there is some shite going on. It may get sorted out and a deal may get struck- but getting charged is a big deal.

regardless of weather he is 17 or 18 or if it is a misdemeanor or a felony( which if he hit a cop it could be) than this is news worthy. Ole miss like state, bama, auburn, lsu, etc will probably shy away from recruiting someone who may be trouble. Than again Ole Miss is in the people helpin' business so lord knows.

I know why they are running the story. They are running it to sell papers. I understand how it works. But is it worth it to sell papers to possibly ruin the reputation of a 17 year old kid who is going to be a big name in the state for the next 4 years on just a charge an no conviction. I personally believe not. But the CL obviously doesn't care and that is their right.

I am mainly pissed because I went to HS with TS and I want him to shine at the college level and I don't want any unfair PR going his way, but hey shite happens.
