I think he means among Mobile but yeah probably making it up if everyone knows he's from Louisiana originally. But, your high school and neighborhood was a big deal when I lived there from the 70's and early 80's.

I've lived in Alabama for a very long time, and have never asked or been asked that, other than MAYBE someone who found out what town I'm from and said "Oh, did you go to X? Do you know X?"

That must be some kind of Mobile to NO thing, or maybe just Louisiana, as they talk about it on the OT weekly.

New Orleans is the high school discussion king. I was in Destin for a few days last week and saw two yards that had Newman flags.

Any of you questioning who's in control in Alabama and asking questions I'd strongly advise you to not carry a to go Ceaser Salad topped with chicken near any stairs...ask Logan Young, oh wait....
