To the fanbases that care about college baseball

Is it just not fun to have something during the football off-season? Like that off-season is way too long to not have a fun sport to follow. Glad schools like Ole Miss, LSU, Arkansas, and MSU care. Nice to see schools like UGA and Auburn build up fans as well. But none of us will ever live up to the Omavols.

Baseball is second to football in my world. The park caters better to families as well. I wouldn’t trade the Alex Box experience for anything.

There's a soft spot in my heart for baseball at this level. Having played baseball for a while in the state myself, there was a time that there were players on the team that I had personally played against growing up. It's easy to get behind something like a low population state made up of mostly home-grown kids with a coach from and that played for Arkansas contending to be the best in the entire country. The ups and downs felt last year were on par with any season of football I've experienced.
Plus baseball is just an awesome sport and more of it is always a good thing.

I'll say this as a non-cbb fan... I haven't watched any of the games but it's been entertaining peeping in on the threads here. OmaVols can't be beat just cuz the name alone is money (thank you to the LSU fan that coined that one).

I enjoy baseball season more than basketball honestly. Almost as much as football. Attending games at the dude and eating good food drinking beer is awesome

Well we go to basketball games for one.
Then we keep up with our miserable baseball team and very good softball team to varying degrees.
Then most of us splinter off into pro sports.

It's a bit boring, but enjoyable at the end.

I love baseball more than anything in the world, but I care 100x more about the Braves and the entire organization as a whole than I do Alabama baseball (which I also enjoy and keep up with pretty closely).
But then again I care more about the Braves than I do Alabama football, so I'm probably different than most.
