At one time or another (in recent memory) shite like this has happened at EVERY SEC school to some extent. But hey, we've kind of got the edge on you guys as far as experience with this kind of nonsense and southerners are as a general rule less likely to kick up a fuss. You'll learn.

Hell, we just had the whole Confederate flag controversy in the middle of the USC campus (the State House is not technically ON campus) and not one person from our team raised hell/refused to attend practice/acted a fool bc of it.

I think that's because you're having a bad year and when that happens everything seems bigger than it is. This is very likely just a minor bump in the road and will likely be resolved fairly quickly. Even if it lasts longer, and I hope it doesn't, it's not a program killer. There are only 3 regular season games remaining. It would suck to lose those games and it will suck for my team if we are denied a game because of it but that's about all the football impact I can see from this.
It's a very temporary situation that doesn't have the hallmarks of major long term damage.
