No blood. Looked like a lower jaw shot. Status unknown. New pitcher warming up.

He said frick it and walked off. Didn't even go after the ball. Prolly broke his jaw.

yep, never even hesitated to look for the ball. headed straight for the dugout. He knew something in his face was fricked up. this is terrible. I hope he can play next week and beyond.

Really wasn't much to see. Regular speed you couldn't really tell it hit his face because his glove was close. Ball just hit him in the jaw and then fell straight down. He just turned and walked off the field while checking his hand to see if there was blood.

Good gosh that sux. Hope he is ok. The fact he just walked off is probably not a good sign.
I always give other teams hell but I also realize that athletes are off limits. These are young men who work hard and want to get to the next level.
