And Marshall still handled the ball 200+ more times than Yeldon, not counting the read option plays where he gave it to Mason.

So wtf was your point?

Compare marshall to other qbs who run the option... Sorry for comparing Yeldon, I was simply stating how many fumbles.

But why do you have to be so bad? Is it enjoyable, do you get pleasure out of this?

That Marshall still fumbles a lot and much more so than other spread QB's.

Like I said in my previous post, the two are not directly comparable, but both fumble more than they should. Hopefully both will clean it up with season.

Ehhhh, a bit of an exaggeration.

I don't think you'll find an Auburn or Alabama fan who disagree with this.

Probably right, but I was only really looking at Cam and Tebow who were all time greats.

Cam and Tebow had more size to absorb hits. Not that all of Marshalls fumbles were caused by big hits though, he still needs to keep it tucked.

I'd be interested in a comparison of Nick, Dak, and Marcus Mariotta.

They are current college running QBs.

Mariota has pro protential, the others do not (as much as that will rustled the jimmies of Auburn and State fans). They are great college QB's but not really comparable to Mariota.

Mariota runs the ball 23% of the time. (205 rushes/907 total touches)

Marshall runs the ball 42% of the time (172/411 total touches)

Precott and Marshall would be the better comparison. Mariota is a much more adept passer and does it far more often.

Amazingly irrelevant. I am just looking for raw data...fumbles per carry last season.

The most fumbling RB is Yeldon based on what has been presented in this thread...

Marshall fumbles, but comparing to a RB is stupid.

Total fumbles is NOT that important, lost fumbles is more important. Lost fumbles per attempt is probable more important.

Bama lost 10 in 13 games, Auburn lost 11 in 14 games.. Auburn rushed the ball 729 times, Bama 461.. Do the math, Bama fumbles...

Auburn played one additional game and also lead the nation in rushing yards per game and total yards (4596), bama ranked 25th (2673).

I can only guess that you looked up the stats and they were favorable to Marshall so you didn't want to post them.

Could be wrong. But with your previous post history and your love to stat compare, I don't think I am.

It's amazing that he fumbles so much. He didn't drop a single iPod while robbing random people's cars in Daphne
