Don’t know about that. AU seems to hate UGA almost as much as Bama. They don’t miss many chances to spout their resentment, envy and anger at Georgia.

They hate UGA. It's true, BUT they define themselves by how they're better than BAMA.
Auburn had never been to the Final Four before 2019. And before 2019 they had as many EE appearances as BAMA. Nobody said they were a better program than BAMA before 2019. Nobody but barners that is.
But in 2019 they finally accomplished something that BAMA hadn't, so that's when barners started saying they were a better program. It isn't true, but that's how they define greatness- what have we done that BAMA hasn't.

Bamas rep is in the dumpster just like AUs has been for years. Until this past season Bama could point at themselves and say how much better a program they were than AU. After Saban made it clear that smacking a 90 lb sorority girl was cool and Oats and the Bama faithful said participating in the murder of a young mother wasn’t a big deal they no longer have any high ground to stand on. So no. Bama isn’t better than AU. Maybe on the field but definitely not morally

The point is this, I get no more enjoyment when BAMA beats barn than when they beat UGA or Kentucky, because I love when BAMA wins. It doesn't make my day when Auburn loses.
I make jokes when auburn loses. I make jokes when anyone loses that isn't BAMA. But that doesn't mean I hate them. I don't hate auburn. I nothing them.

Bama really is just better in football. However, Saban will be gone soon and then they will become another Penn St or Miami (with more history) for a while...it really scares them because they only have football. UGA is now #1 and other good SEC teams are now beating them on a more regular basis... Saban will either retire early or just become the next Paterno/Bowden.
But other than football, bama is an inferior institution overall...
