bright side of dating a slutty girl is she drinks for free - the down side is burning during urination
Small pill clears that up and you save a tremendous amount of money from other guys buying her drinks when going out.
You jealous college guys have a lot to learn.

I've made no claims of the sort. Just that the AP trophy is in Title Town.

Seriously what is 'corner ice?' I've lived in Tuscaloosa for the past 4 years and have no idea what you're talking about
My suggestion: Hit up a joint called Horny's. It's right off the strip on Red Drew Ave, near the Houndstooth and across from the Red Shed. It used to be a hotdog restaurant, but the owners are raging alcoholics so they turned it into a bar.
They have good specials on food and booze for gamedays and the dudes that run the place are...lively. Listening to the manager drunkenly berate his employees is a laugh a minute.

No one watches the gates to the student section after the first half. Or they didn't when I was there...

I'm assuming it's alot like "sonic" ice.

Not all Media outlets gave before the bowl games. No conformity therefore Arkansas owns just as much of the tile as every other team that split titles before and after.
I didn't say you couldn't count it. You did win the FWAA title. But Alabama won the AP and the UPI trophies and all the Hog fans do is gripe about it. It was the way it was done back then.
Alabama and Arkansas were both undefeated in the 1964 season. The Associated Press and the United Press International liked Alabama better and awarded them the National Championship.
After the season, teams went to bowl games, but back then, the bowl games didn't count for the AP and UPI voting.
Maybe they thought that Alabama beating Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Mississippi ST., Tennessee, North Carolina St, Vandy, and Tulane were better than Arkansas beating Ok St., Tulsa, Texas Christian, Baylor, Wichita St., TA&M, Rice, Southern Methodist, and Tex. Tech.

1) Gallette's for a Yellow Hammer
2) Big Bad Wolf BBQ nachos on the Strip
3) If you come before Saturday, head to Northport and eat at City Cafe
4) Go to the Corner Store on Bryant and get a Coke with "Corner ice"
5) Head to the Bryant Museum and check out the 1964 AP trophy awarded to the National Championship winning University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
1) Agree. Either that or get directions to Harry's and get a "Crazy Bucket" to go (I assume they still sell those).
2) Agree, but only for a snack
3) City Cafe is good, but highly overrated. It's a frickin meat and 3 veg place for heaven's sake. For a REALLY nice meal, go to Kozy's, Evangelines, Epiphanys, or Chuck's Fish. For a nice casual meal go to DiPalmas or Cypress Inn. For good bar/american food, go to Wings U at Midtown Village, Bob Baumhowers, or for convenience Phil's on the Strip.
I should also mention Nicks (in the Sticks). Great very low key steak place. Good place to go early Friday night before it gets crowded. Try the Nickodemus (Ttown's version of a Hurricane/Hand Grenade type drink) which they serve at Nicks.
4) Have no idea what this is. Must be an inside joke.
5) True
I would suggest entering Tuscaloosa via Exit 73 for anyone coming in via I-59. You get an appreciation for how big the tornado was when crossing 15th street there.

Arkansas should claim a National title in 1977.. 1 loss to #2 Texas and destroyed #1 OU in the orange bowl. That is total Bama standards for a National title, ha.
Better pick another year if you want to play that game. #5 Notre Dame beat #1 Texas. Arkansas beat #2 Oklahoma. #3 ALABAMA beat Ohio State. #4 Michigan lost in the Rose Bowl. If anyone has a gripe about the '77 Nat'l Championship, it's Bama and no, we don't claim it.

All great recommendations. I love going to Phil's the night before the game to grab a bite. Wings U is awesome because you can get both pizza and wings, and both are good.

The steak is pretty good and the price is pretty cheap.

Oh I love Phils too, but on gameday its awful. Food is cold and the service is slow to go along with the hour wait.

Oh, I get what you're saying. I just don't even try it on gamedays.
