Perfect where and how its done currently.

Many speaking on the topic as if they would know but their team has never played in the actual game...

It's not about the ACC taking Atlanta. It's about the SEC not having a footprint in Miami. Miami is not SEC country.

Technically, neither is Atlanta.

Imo, the state of Florida is not geographically suitable...way too far away if you're talking about central to south Fla.

Doesn’t mean fans from other schools aren’t interested in attending various locales and venues.
As far as I know (please correct me if I’m wrong), football and baseball are the only two sports whose championships don’t rotate.
It’s anomalous, for sure.

An extra 15 minutes on the plane is nothing.

Why not? The conf championship game is not some longstanding tradition. Shake things up and rotate among Atlanta, Nashville, and New Orleans. Could also include Jacksonville, Tampa, Dallas, and Houston. Only requirement should be an NFL stadium in an SEC state.

More people generally drive to the SECCG than fly.
They may fly to a bowl or playoff games, but not usually the SECCG.

Jerry’s World would be the most suited to handle an SEC title game capacity since it’s expandable to 105,000. No other NFL stadium in SEC territory is close.

You're right. You've convinced me we should move the game to Nashville permanently.

Sure it is. 30 years now, and all but the first one in Atlanta. 1st one was Legion Field I believe?

That’s actually my point.
Ags fly to all of our games (I guess some drive to BR).
I’m not exactly sure why it’s too much to expect a fan base to fly to one conference championship game.
I’d hop a plane to just about anywhere in the Western Hemisphere to see my team in that game!

(I know. 1939 and whatnot )

This is why Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta are the only logical choices. You can get a direct flight to any of those locations from anywhere in the country. Super convenient.

Jacksonville crime is pretty rough. Gang wars are escalating. Just saying, if a case against NOLA is high crime and danger, a similar case can be made against Jacksonville as well.

Jacksonville has almost twice the population and like 60% of the homicides of new orleans.

Yeah, but Houston sucks. And Dallas and Atlanta are boring AF.

If you're an Alabama fan, you'd be making at least three trips a year, with wife, not counting occasional big OOC games.
That's a different animal.
