That's the 2017 1st week rankings; not this year's.

I've probably asked this before but are they only using week 1 data here or does it take into account the prior year?
Wow that's a dumb question, is your sister also your uncle??

Do NOT show this to the tiger rant. Some really believe LSU has the number ONE defense.

I can see that for A&M.
Offense:
Kellen Mond - 8 drives, 6 touchdowns, 1 3&Out
Nick Starkel - 4 drives, 2 touchdowns, 1 field goal, 1 turnover
Connor Blumrick - 1 drive, game ended at the NWST 2
Defense:
8 drives - 1 touchdown, 1 missed field goal, 5 3&out

Restoring order.
One game at a time.
One game at a time.

Who would ever have thought that a decade ago
I know...It was the defenses that created the separation between the two. UK's defense was good enough to drop Central Michigan's offense to #118, while UT's defense was bad enough to move West Virginia's offense up all the way to #7.

Everybody knows it’s right. The top 5 are the only teams that have a chance and happen to be the teams that were in the mix last year and have all looked dominant this year as well. ND might be the only outlier other than those 5 teams.

crazy that LSU has a 95 Special teams ranking when they went 4/4 on field goals, averaged 40 yards on 5 punts, had 6 touchbacks on 8 kickoffs, and only allowed an average of 19 yards on two kicks that were returned.
