I'm hoping I can get Tebow to circumcise my baby boy.

He truly is a fantastic guy. In this world full of skeptics and hypocrites, it's refreshing to see someone like him who seems to get it right. I just hope he can continue to resist all the temptations thrown his way. Even a good man can fall. Wish we had more people like him in the world.

No. I'm a Christian, and fricking hated him in college because of oversaturation. But now, I like him. He's g obviously got a good heart and is sincere. But in college, the Tebow blowfest got old as hell.

I am not a Christian, and I get the dislike due the oversaturation to an extent, but the guy is literally golden. He is genuine, he isn't a hypocrite, and he preaches great messages, by example mostly. I have no problem with someone like him getting "over-exposed."

I admit to having some fun with "Tebow tears" following the 2009 SECC, but even then, he was a great sport about it, and never got salty towards Bama. Stand-up guy in my book.

The Tim Tebow Foundation put in ANight to Shine last night in Alexandria It is basically a prom for special needs kids. It is an amazing event.

I liked him as a player. I like him now he seems to walk the walk

What does this have to do with how he was portrayed in the MSM,who clearly don't share his values or faith.

I heard him get roasted repeatedly by local and national radio talk show host along with shows like PTI and 1st take during his NFL days

Compare how those exact same shows treated the players protest/ kneeling movement and get back to me.

He wasn't criticized for being a Christian, he was criticized for being a pretty bad NFL quarterback (which he was). If sports media attacked athletes for being Christian then they'd be attacking roughly 90% of pro athletes.

Well, ESPN has given Tebow a very lucrative job with SEC network, so I'd say he's being treated pretty darn well. I guess they hated him so much they decided to make him a face of their college football coverage?

And thank god, he’s the best part of SECN Saturday morning show in football season. If they could drop Paul and add someone of value, it would be even better.

Not talking about his criticisms in regards to his play. The criticism involved is end zone kneeling and expression of faith.Colin Cohward did it repeatedly along with Matt Chernoff on 680 the fan in Atlanta.Kornheiser,Kellerman and most of the 1st take regulars did the same

They pointed to his on field "antics" and was about the only one k.neeling and expressing faith on the field.

This had nothing to do with the hypocracy I pointed out in regards to on air personalities and ESPN executives make those decisions. Teebow has a high Q rating among Men and Women viewers and getting eyes on the sets is their main concern.

Georgia sports talk radio hates Florida heisman winner.

That’s a real shocking revelation there.

That's not what persecution is. People around the world who are jailed or physically attacked for their opinions sure wish it was, but it's not. Persecution means that something bad actually happens to you, not that you become a multimillionaire who is given a second lucrative contract with the biggest name in sports television. Evangelical Christians in the US are so committed to the idea that "our faith is under attack and it'll be illegal to go to church any day now" that they see persecution in every example of someone disagreeing with them.

No he wasn't. NFL players have been kneeling, pointing to the sky, crossing themselves, etc after touchdowns for decades, including when Tebow played.

That's not hypocrisy because you're talking about the statements and actions of different people. If Colin Cowherd criticizes Tebow and then an ESPN executive offers him a contract, that's not what hypocrisy is.

"persecution complex" oh, that's cute - never heard that before. Did they not crack and make fun of him for kneeling and praying? He is a target for what he represents and the good he is doing. By the way, identifying with Christianity doesn't make one a Christian no more than a boy identifying as a girl makes him a girl.

Tebow is an exceptional person. He’s also heavily involved in the Night to Shine program, which was last night if I’m not mistaken.

I have no problem with people liking him. Seems like a good guy, great SEC player and doesn't do much that is unlikable.

I have a problem with people who take it to the next level. The same people who still talk about how Tebow should be starting QB in the NFL and was screwed over only for being a christian

Specifically, I'm talking about my dad
