Wasn't good enough against lowly Arkansas! Wouldn't surprise me if Arkansas loses the rest of the games this season.

Our run game does exactly what we need it to do. Teams have to respect Spiller and Achane because they will get yards and are a threat to take one into the end zone every time they touch the ball. That allows us to keep the secondary honest and take advantage of mismatches with our TE, Ainias Smith, or our RBs slipping out against a LB.

I understand that and I understand poster Blackgloves saying he'll take it.

I would too.

Just pointing out that this rushing attack wouldn't likely support a Heisman candidate like one of the earlier posters suggested.

I live near Houston so am familiar with the aTm team. First and foremost, both teams are capable of laying an egg. If both teams play to their capabilities, it is a very intriguing and evenly matched game. AU will not be intimidated by Kyle field. Whoever wins the turnover battle likely wins the game. aTm will not be an easy out. I am thinking 27-24 AU.

My siblings and I (all AU alum) go to this game ever year it’s in CS and it’s our favorite away game because the aTm fans always treat us great!

Our OL turned the corner against Bama. They were not good until that game and were constantly moving guys around. Different unit than what we rolled out against Arkansas but yeah they were definitely bad that game.

Sure seemed to do the trick against y’all.

Having balance doesn’t mean you’re not great at something

QB who can be Jekyl or Hyde - on a given week you never know if he will run away from the pocket with nonexistent pressure and make terrible throws off his back foot or whether he will look like Johnny Manziel (which he did against LSU and Ole Miss)

Best RBs in the nation possibly - believe it or not, many think our 3* freshman RB Hunter is better than our 5* sophomore RB

Our o line is improving each week but the unit certainly isn’t elite.

Our WRs aren’t elite either and we don’t have an Anthony Schwartz 10.0 100 meter runner like Schwartz was but they are at least not dropping so many passes.

D-line isn’t elite either but I would say maybe 5-7 best in SEC.

LBs probably best unit in SEC.

CBS and safeties were supposed to be best in SEC but they haven’t played up to potential - Mcreary will probably be a first round draft pick.

Our kicker is elite - his brother is a kicker for the Raiders. Our punter averages over 50 yards a punt so special teams is good even though we looked like crap last week.

Our coaching staff is great at making in game adjustments. Overall, I think that it will be a close game but we are going to need for Bo to play at an elite level to win. If I was forced to put money on the game, I would probably say Aggies by 5 or 6.

Oh I believe it. Haven’t seen either play much this year but stars don’t tell the whole story. For us, 3* recruit Anias Smith has consistently out performed all of the 5* and 4* receivers on the roster for years now

So if it feels like a home game for you, we should win. ;)

Calzada is always good for one ill-timed interception.

I think Auburn matches up pretty good in strengths vs weaknesses and Kyle field has never intimated an Auburn team. I think Auburn wins but it’s gonna be a close game, Probably come down to turnovers or special teams play.

Been a strange series for sure. Should be a close hard fought game. Auburn has ability to pressure Calzada which could be a problem. We can do the same with Nix. I agree that turnovers are probably the difference.

As Keith Jackson used to say...this game is going to be decided by the “big ugliest” on both sides of the ball for each team. These two teams look a lot like each other. A streaky QB, good running games, good receivers if the QB can get it there. Great run defenses, iffy srcondarie.
