First, yes there were a lot of shitty calls in the game. No, you shouldn't blame officials. However, you can blame your coach's decision making. I'm not talking about the 4 passes in OT or the multiple other jack arse moves he made in the game.

Why, with a time out to spare, did he not challenge this pass on Bama's drive that would eventually tie the game?

This was clearly a trapped ball. Anyone who watched knew that it was at least a possibility that the ball wasn't caught. Why was your coach the only single human being on planet earth that wasn't screaming to challenge the call?

Maybe I'm fuzzy on the rules and he couldn't challenge, but he damn sure could have called a time out and allowed the booth official time to review it.

Yes I'm pissed off about it, Les being an atrocious game time coach dramatically altered the outcome of the game and potentially the division. You shouldn't stand for a guy to squeak by, thriving only on the talent that LSU does and will recruit. There are multiple other coaches, in the SEC, that would seldom lose a game with the land of milk and honey he pisses on daily.

Negative. The ball can eventually touch the ground, just not before you catch and control it. The screenshot you are showing is after has caught the ball and is in a roll. He has possession and control. Touching the ground after that fact is irrelevant, a lot like State will be this time next week.

You can always point out the mouth breathing retards when they say LSU wins only on "talent" and no other team does.

Who said no other team does? The only other team with talent comparable to yours is Bama, and last I checked they are owning your arse annually.

You are going to have to provide more than a shitty screen shot to convince me that it wasn't a catch.

Also, Blake spiked it so fast that Les probably didn't even have to time to think about it.

Bama should win on talent considering they have had 4 straight #1 classes. You are a fricking retard and this thread is embarrassing.

Should have called TO cause they didn't have enough time to review it. No way that was going to get overturned in 5 secs and it looked pretty good before that.

Then your QB should have run for it on the last play. If you want to bitch about the game then bitch about Cam not teaching his QB better. Hell Kiffin taught a running back how to QB a 2 min offense like Tom Brady. Now that's coaching.
You need to fire Cam and get a real coach.

He would have had to beat Collins to get the 1st down.

My understanding was that Les asked upstairs what they thought, was told they didn't think the call would be overturned. He moved on.

The only two calls I really had a problem with were the personal foul calls (flag on LSU on the goal line and flag on Bama in OT). Technically speaking, both were probably penalties, but the pushing and shoving was going on all game after plays and nothing was called.

Refs were letting teams play for the most part (as evidenced by the lack of total penalties in the game) the entire game and then two personal foul flags at crucial points on the game. Refs should have kept the flags in their pockets in both instances.

Look douche bag, Les has some faults but he coached a hell of a game. I swear you up start bull dogs are starting to make we want Bama to win and I thought I would never say that.

It wouldn't have mattered. Les was already thinking about how he screw up the game some other way...

I had to include the tiny gif for reference. Obviously, the ball is being thrown and the shove has just started in the still frame. That's not legal D

Call on the field was a catch

Very true. Watch the replay, and the chain gang is still sprinting down the field, not set yet. The announcers barely had time to comment on the play. I don't think they should have been allowed to snap it that fast, have to let the chains get set... but if the official lets them do it, good move on Bama's part.
