I didn't say I agreed.
I disagree with him. To counter his point, if LSU gets ahead or makes some big plays early then the crowd will become louder than ever. Bama goes 3&out or gives up a sack in first possession - the place will be deafening.

This, so much of this game depends on the first few possessions of each team.

(Awkward bad joke pause).
Why was it a bad joke? It was a true statement. If LSU gives up a lot of points to Alabama, LSU fans won't boo, because we respect Chavis and what his defense has done for the last 3 years. But if LSU's offense piles up the 3 and outs, or even runs the ball up the middle on 3rd and goal from the 8 yard line, there are going to be some boos because people in Baton Rouge are tired of the offense holding LSU's team back from being unbeatable.
I won't boo, but others will.

re: Tiger Stadium at Night Worth Less Than Three Points in Vegas (Posted on 11/1/12 at 11:10 a.m. to bbap) Yeah and how many games has he won, and ever played in Tiger Stadium. Ask your former players, I know Despite being 14–2 at Tiger Stadium, famed Alabama head coach Bear Bryant once remarked that "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum."[7] In 2001,ESPN sideline reporter Adrian Karsten said, "Death Valley in Baton Rouge is the loudest stadium I've ever been in."[8] In 2002, Miami (Ohio) coach Terry Hoeppner said of Tiger Stadium, "That's as exciting an environment as you can have ... we had communication problems we haven't had at Michigan and Ohio State."[8] In 2003, ESPN's Chris Fowler called LSU his favorite game day experience.[8] In 2009 former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stated on Sean Hannity's Fox News show that "Unfair is playing LSU on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge." Survey after survey has concluded that Tiger Stadium is the most difficult place for a visiting team to play, including surveys by the College Football Association in 1987, The Sporting News in 1989, Gannett News Service in 1995, and Sport Magazine in 1998.[8] More recently, in 2007, ESPN named Tiger Stadium "the scariest place to play," saying that "Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country."[9] In 2009, ESPN writer Chris Low listed Tiger Stadium's a bunch and they all hated playing in Baton Rouge at night or lets look at this..... So who is right this Bear Bryant guy or the bookie? Are you saying a lowlife bookie is smarter that the Bear about SEC football?

I think the writer agreed with his point, just thought it was a bad play on words.
Posted on 11/1/12 at 11:19 am to Choupique19
i dont think it being untruthful made it bad, it was just bad because boo valley is a lame name.

Also, I was there in 2010. The crowd was pretty good for the first half, but LSU trailed 7-3 at halftime. Then, midway through the 3rd quarter Jefferson hit Randle on the 70-something yard touchdown and LSU took the lead. The last quarter and a half of that game had the stadium totally rocking. LSU fans weren't real confident about that game until the offense finally showed some life.

They don't care as long as some dipshit agrees with what he's hoping for-- that tiger stadium won't be an intimidating venue Saturday Night
It is nice to see Tiger Stadium already stuck in Bama fans heads days before the game though

You seem mad. You should take it up with the bookie.

All I know is since 2000:
LSU @ home
78-11 (88%)
LSU not @ home
53-24 (68%)
Strength of schedule may play some part in that, but you can't tell me that playing at home hasnt been beneficial to us.

The better question is how many LSU fans will have left the stadium if the Tigers are down significantly at by halftime?
