Terrible to witness such an injury to a talented and class kid. No showboating, no talk. All heart/effort/talent. Although i wish it on no one, it never seems to happen to the "bad guys". Maybe Chad Jones can reach out to him about rehab/recovery. Hope they both come back.

iT is awful to see anyone suffer an injury (ok if a player went into Saban on the sidelines i would be ok), but that this is his second in two years sucks. BUt he came back strong before, and you know he has the work ethic. So lets hope and pray he can do it again.

We re-watched that shite about six times at work this morning. You could see the horror of the injury as it unfolded. Seeing his body shake with sobs as he was carted off the field was much more painful, though. I'm not a doctor or a trainer, but I don't see how that leg will ever be nearly the same.

Well, I wouldn't be opposed to a McCarron/Saban collision with trauma.

Lattimore is a great player and I hope he can come back and get a shot in the NFL.

this. made me sick to my stomach - a family member referred to it as sickening as the Theisman break. Just about right - when you watched his leg sort of flop to the side. And then seeing him wracked with sobs - you know he's thinking, oh dear God, not again.
Prayers for his recovery. By all accounts, a real stand-up guy.

Definitely a great young man and I hope and pray that he can go through rehab and continue to play one day. Such a great young man.

Tough to watch. Also reminded me of the Theisman break.
And as others have said, he appears to be a great young man on and off the field.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery and being able to resume a football career.

It was more like Napoleon McCallum's injury on MNF.

ESPN just reported that Spurrier said it's a dislocated knee cap. Not as bad as originally thought. Still lost for season though. What ate his chances for recovery and to come back and play?
