I was stationed at Reese AFB, a pilot training base in 1966 and the T38s. a F5 equivalent were in service then. I wonder if it's still serving today.

I shot a 74 in 1972 while stationed in Japan. I was one under thru 15 holes but bogied the last 3 holes.

That was a hell of a finals match. 36 holes and the biggest margin was +2. Romero won it sinking an 8 foot putt for par on the 36th hole.

NBC has to pay a huge fee for rights to telecast the Open. Unfortunately a lot of commercials are part of the deal.

NBC's coverage sucks. They can't follow an approach shot into the green. When the ball lands I can't see it on the green.
