Sanford Stadium's lower bowl was built in a natural creek valley.
Same with Razorback Stadium. From the south, its like four or five stories tall. From the north, its mostly below grade.

michigan is also unique in that the teams enter the locker room through the sidelines... not the endzones... the only place I can think of that does that.
Used to be that way at Kyle for both teams until they built the Bright football operations complex with new lock rooms in the endzone. The opposing team still has to enter and exit from under the student stands though.

BDS is pretty imposing on the outside. You come into campus on a hill,
SC's is the same way. Its unfortunate that its a couple of miles off campus but its flanked by fairgrounds, apartments, etc. so it comes into view from miles away. I loved walking across Main St. everyday on the way to class and being able to see off in the distance.
Because I was so used to that kind of set up I was surprised the first time I went to UGA and CU. Was just walking around the campus and next thing I know there are 80-90,000 seat stadiums.

yeah thats not really that unique. lsu's visitors enter from the sidelines too.

There has to be at least 50 confederate flags in that picture.

The very edge of the Boston Mountains. Yeah, there are some pretty neat views off the hill here. That pic is from one of the tall dorms north of the stadium.

The clear sky to the left is just the purity of Mississippi mocking NWA.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is sunken. I love it. You walk in and look down to the field. It's awesome if you haven't seen it before.
LOL at UT erector set.

I've always like Arky's stadium. That view is a nice bonus

I haven't been there, but I've been to the Big House in Michigan. I always kind of liked how it sneaks up on you. how huge it is inside.

He meant sidelines wider, instead of 53 yard they will be 55 yards not so Sumlin can run more screen passes, but because everything is bigger in Texas.

I don't know, but I hate the rose bowl. It seems like the "cheap seats" are ten feet above the field and FOUR HUNDRED YARDS away.
Not to mention, their lighting sucks balls.

Yeah, but you have a nice huge stream of drainage flowing outside the stadium to add to the atmosphere.
