Here's what I remember from the cotton bowl
Girls were hot, but trashy hot. Like wearing a cutoff jersey with jeans and a bully button ring. Nothing wrong with that though.
Dudes all seemed to wear backwards fitted hats and jerseys and graphic tees, and talked enormous amounts of shite prior to the game.
Pretty bad fans on average. Not nearly as bad as the West Virginia fans from the Music City Bowl in 2000

That being said, when they are provoked, the Tech mob can be relentless and violent.

Why does an Arkansas fan need an opinion of the Texas Tech fan base? You should have enough history to draw your own conclusion. Unless you are 18 or something.

Volleyball is certainly up there but gymnastics and equestrian have good bodies and excel at sex.

The bad behavior for Tech fans really just started in the late 90's. I went to the '91 game at Tech while I was in school and hung out with Tech folks the whole time and never had a cross word. It went downhill fast though sometime around the BDF move.
Tech used to have mainly West Texas kids that went there and they are generally good folks. At some point they were overtaken by rich kids from the suburbs of Dallas, Houston, Austin, and SA that weren't smart enough to get in to A&M or Texas, didn't want to go to a private school, and who had parents that didn't care about them basically getting a Texas State/North Texas/Sam Houston level education but going hundreds of miles away in the middle of nowhere to get drunk and party there way through school. They do have a lot of dumb hot women there that are easy.
Still, they have a major complex about acting like Tech is just as good as A&M or Texas but no sane person would ever intentionally go to Tech if they could go to A&M or Texas. It's just a crap school in a crap town a long way from anything. About the most endearing part of Lubbock is it is halfway to the mountains if you are coming from Central Texas.

My sister was an athletic training student at Texas in 2008 when both teams were good. She had a nightmare trip to Lubbock. They basically attacked all of the staff immediately following the game. She got felt up and much of their equipment got stolen as the students rushed the field. They grew stuff at her the entire game. It was horrible.
