Thompson Boling Arena Renovation finally complete

Prior to Phase 1:
Phase 1 (Addition of Video Board, black padded seats, and loge and luxury box seating):
Phase 2 (Pratt Pavillion Constructed as addition to Thompson Boling Arena)
Phase 3 (LED Ribbon Scoreboard Added to Thompson Boling Arena)
Phase 3 was completed this month.

15K announced at both exhibition games. A little generous, but I think the fans will come.

Banners? Just Final 4's and Runner ups and Championships...
At least we certainly do not put women's banners up in ours!

Word is no new Rupp Arena...they are going to drop $275 million into renovating existing Rupp with box seats and more general seating

It's in the Univeristy's master plan but it has not happened yet

ok. thanks. Remember watching Tennessee on tv as a kid playing there. Yall had some tough teams in the 70's and 80's during that era.

So you have a nice big video board so you can see this clearly when we visit....
In all seriousness those are some great upgrades. I know UK looked at installing a similar video board but my understanding was the infrastructure in Rupp couldn't handle the weight, at least not without some major major work. I'm anxious to see what they decide on in terms of either building a new facility or major renovations to Rupp when the lease is up in 2017-2018. I'm sure this is something they'll look at it if it's financially feasible.
