I know it feels good to pretend Texas somehow "abused" Arkansas and A&M, but this is just a bad take. Arkansas and A&M both left for the same reasons: (a) money and (b) they were tired of being dominated by Texas on the field. Same reasons Nebraska left.

Stanford owned that award pretty much since it's inception. Do you really believe Stanford rocks the college sports world?

Razorback fans to Texas a&m fans:

So which one is it??

We actually have the series lead vs Texas over the last 35 years

I am pretty sure I am a lot older than you are and Utx just does not play fair. They talk a big game and get all huffy but they are not in any way, shape, or form, understanding that to make a conference strong, you must make all the schools strong.

Nebraska left.

Nebraska has tried at least 3 times in the last 100 years to join the B1G. This is historical fact and was going on since they missed the spot Ohio State got, which if memory serves was just before or just after WW I. If they do not move the Big 8 HQ to TX, the NCAA probably never moves to Indianapolis as they were in the same city and state.

Do you even remotely comprehend the "Laws of un intended consequences"?

Narcissim and Greed (since the early 80's) is killing this county just as it killed Rome. Pass the buck all you want but the nutless bovine college in austin was just ahead of their time for 50 - 100 years. Killing the Golden Goose for your sole benefit still means the goose is dead, how do you not see / understand this simple concept?

Nor should we. This is America. Didn’t realize this board was so full of communists.

Again, the new conference that Nebraska joined voted to put its HQ in Dallas. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Colorado voted in agreement with the four Texas schools.

You always says "Texas doesn't play fair" yet can't provide any concrete examples. It's just "Texas is greedy, Texas is mean." How so?

They were king of the mountain when the Big 12 formed, and Texas promptly spanked that arse in the 1996 Big 12 CCG, and continued to over the years to the tune of 9-1 against Corn. They couldn't cope and took their ball and left.

Nope. Texas does. It's not my fault you can't read a simple graphic (then again, you couldn't even tell the difference between Baylor and WVU last week )

OOOOF. Somebody's angry that Texas flourished so much last year.

Even without football contributing, Texas still had 10 teams play for a national championship/finish in the top 2 in TEN different sports last year, with 4 of the programs bringing home national titles.

Meanwhile, you're still too much of a pussy to claim an allegiance while trying to take shots at other fanbases

It's ok to cry, dude. Nobody here is judging. Even if every knee-slapper joke you have reads like it was written by an extremely lonely 76-year-old

They've played what, like 7 or 8 times total in that span? With Arkansas conveniently avoiding all of Texas's best teams during that stretch and avoiding playing Texas with Arkansas' worst teams in that stretch?

56-23 is still 56-23, and I guarantee you every single Arkansas fan would trade their football program's past 35 years for the Texas football program's past 35 years in a New York minute.

Arkansas wasn’t dominated after the mid 80’s, so they left not because of on field domination but because of the possibility of being left out after the breakup of the SWC. .aggy on the other hand was running from Texas domination.

Texas had been humiliated in almost every meeting this millennium. Aggy despite having won 9 of the last 10 is still 10 games behind in the all time series.

This thread lacks awareness.

You've been humiliated by a&m in almost every meeting this millennium, and in the same sentence go on to brag about holding the all-time record. And you're chastising people on lack of awareness?

You as a person lack awareness (but you did get your education at Arkansas, so that is at least understandable)

I know this is a board full of trolls and you are probably just trolling but if you truly believe this you should pack your bags and leave this country post haste!

Part of my family goes back to the very start of this country with the advent of European settlement. They came here fleeing countries that did not play fair looking for a better life. Some came with just hope and the clothes on their back. One of them came as an indentured servant. At least 1 may have come as a slave.

They came for religious freedom
They came to carve out a new start in a wilderness
They came and broke their backs and fought in wars for the next 3 generations just to have a homestead they could call their own, and not property of a monarch

The other side of my family came through Ellis Island and Castle Clinton (precursor to Ellis) from the mid 1800's till WW I. I know at least 2 were "black" as I have seen their actual immigration documents. Again, they came with nothing to escape those who did not play fair in other parts of the world.

They have fought (and some died) in every conflict from the French & Indian War right up to the current conflict in the Middle East. I am pretty damn sure NOT A DAMN ON OF THEM WERE COMMUNISTS! Especially as there is a least 1 Medal of Honor winner among the lot as well as a few Silver and Bronze Stars as well. They also fought and died in the fight so the State of Texas could even exist (their remains are still in TX soil) so please don't tell me that "not playing fair" is American and that playing fair is Communist because if you believe this, you are an arse.

The leather helmet was ushered out, and the plastic helmet was introduced in 1940. In the "post-leather helmet" era of college football, Arkansas is 18-40 against Texas.

Arkansas has beat us by more than 10 in 3 of the 6 games since 2000. I don't think 50% counts as "almost every game."

You're 4-2 against us in that time. Congrats on that.

We've won a title and played for another in that span, what'd you do besides play SEC west spoiler?
