How did Alabama get 14 votes when apparently the other 13 teams only got 1?

It's actually A&M and Mizzou's fault for being whiny little bitches and ruining our conference

We received an invitation.
We graciously accepted.
Don't blame us.
That's how we do the manners thing in The Great State.

what made the SEC strong is eroding. it started when we expanded to 14 schools. no offense intended to mizzou or a&m but the SEC has fumbled this shite and sacrificed a lot of fun matchups and road trips; and these things DO matter in keeping a cohesive conference. this needs to be corrected and there are several ways to do it (as has been hashed out on here countless times). LSU fans get a bad rap but it seems that other fans are now waking up and realizing that the east and west are damn near two separate conferences.
Want to blame someone, blame the money hungry school Presidents and administrators that made expansion happen. The SEC was FINE how it was. Nothing against A&M and Mizzou but 14 teams is too many teams if you only want 8 conference games. Maybe some other teams should have nutted up and voted for the 9 game schedule.

Hate to be the one to tell you but your school voted to keep the status quo also, and it's vote wasn't even under the auspice of keeping a rivalry. It was so they could keep their annual game against a perennial SEC bottom feeder.
ETA: Why does everyone's anger on this issue get focused on Bama, when all of the other schools outside of LSU, USCe, and possibly aTm voted to keep it at 6-1-1?

Also, we dont give a rat's arse if you dont care about TSIO. We do and so do UT fans. Id never want to see Auburn and Georgia stop playing either.
I think true fans of the SEC and college football who are older than 18 appreciate the traditions that made the game great. Start trashing the traditions at every turn for the dollar and see if college football stays as popular it is. LSUGrandad was spot on BTW

Yes, and we've been the ones getting our asses kicked for the last 7 years. Anyone with half a brain knows this stuff is cyclical
