I don't the problem is going to be Coker or Kiffin, it will be the OL.

Transfer QBs are Auburn's expertise. Probably why they require one to win anything these days.

Must be why they're so critical of Coker. Only Auburn is allowed to have successful transfer QBs. Nobody else!

He's a good offensive coach. Not a head coach. We are asking him to do nothing but score points, and bring in 5 stars. It's Coach Sabans team, and he knows that!

We don't hype our transfer QB's as "future Heisman Trophy winners". It just seems to work out that way.

I agree Coker is better than any quarterback Saban has had at Alabama. Yet he still wasn't the starter at his previous school because the dude is a chicken shite. He has a decent arm and maybe he has a mind for the game, but he can't throw when he knows he's going to take a hit. two words He's A PUSS! That's why Winston among other numerous reasons started over the guy. The best quarterback Alabama has had in the last 7 years? Sure. If he needs a comparison he reminds me of Carr who just came out of Fresno State. Good QB's when protected. Bad news for SEC is he will most likely stay pretty well protected.

So Jacob Coker and Nick Marshall can't throw, IYO...

What do you have to say about Anthony Jennings or Brandon Harris?

If everything you said about Coker is true, then your first sentence is patently false.

to his year at UT, to his years at USC as a head coach. They would score 40 a game and still lose
Huh?

Kiffin has coached only one team that has averaged more than 30 ppg on offense the last five years.

but I thought he was a good coach

You really consider scoring less than 30 ppg 4/5 years a good offensive coaching job?

Brandon Harris has the arm, but needs some weight or he's going to be broken. Jennings isn't the QB that Harris is. Coker is better than both at this point IMO. No Nick can't throw. He has fundamental flaws that should have been corrected. They weren't and it seems like when he get's in a rush or doesn't have time to think about his delivery he uses instinct and his instincts cause him to throw a shitty ball. Coker is just a giant pussy. Nothing wrong with him as a 7on7 QB. Being scared can make you do terrible things with the football. Scared is one thing a QB should never be. That's my opinion. And I'm glad someone got the 8 Seconds reference.

After all the off season debate about Coker, wouldn't be funny if he got injured against WVU and didn't even play? Football can be funny that way.

All this debate reminds me of all the Mettenberger hype back before the 2012 season.

They sure were good back when he
Coached the offense for USC when Reggie bush was there. Matt Barkley was pretty good too, had a hell of a offense. Hell, Kiffin made Johnathon Crompton manageable.... Coker and Alabama will be fine. Worry about Auburn!

And when Steve Sarkisian was there?

Please explain in what sense USC had a "hell of an offense" with Matt Barkley.

Is that his biggest accomplishment the past five years? Making UT middle of the pack in the SEC on offense?

Hell, Dooley must be a lot better than Kiffin then. He had UT in the top 4 in offensive rankings in the SEC with Tyler Bray who went undrafted.
